Quite possibly, one of the saddest things ever is watching your little one feel sick and nauseous and not know what is going on. Watching Kya try to throw up and "get it out" made both daddy and mommy tear up. Kya has literally been sitting on my lap for five days. No energy, throwing almost everything up and sleeping a lot. Poor thing. She is just a different person when she is sick, isn't everyone. I think today she is finally coming around, but still very subdued. Crackers and Pedialyte are our friends. She has even been holding the bowl sometimes while drinking her special "juice". Its sad. She is skinnier too. I have certainly enjoyed the cuddles, but not at her expense.Watching "Finding Nemo" or "Fishes", has been the only thing that Kya would watch as a distraction from the sick feeling. Its also the only thing she would watch on the road. Besides the move and breaking another tooth through, now being sick, she has not made this transition as smooth as we would hope. She is still and angel and really good. We just hope she is back to her normal self soon. She did tell me that she misses "Gramma" and "Grampa" and of course "Mollie".

Break my heart! She still looks cute though, even when she is sick. I agree that it is the hardest thing to watch a kid be sick. I have seen many nieces and nephews be sick and it always makes me want to cry and take it away. Give her a huge kiss and a hug for me.
Oh shoot! That's so sad. I hate it Hailey is sick, but we haven't (knock on wood) had the throw-ups yet. And it made me sad to hear that she misses Grandma and Grandpa. You need to come back and visit! :)
Wouldn't you rather be sick than her? I know I would. Sad. She is so sweet. The picture of the pumpkins are adorable!
It is so hard when the kids are sick. I hope she feels better soon and she won't get sick again this season. I hope it also passes over you two as well. We love you all and hope to see you soon!
That sucks! I am glad she still misses Mollie and remembers her name. The kids ask about Kya a lot too. Hang in there.
Poor thing! I can totally relate- Addie was sick last week and it just broke my heart in pieces! I sure hope Kya feels better REALLY soon and can get back to being her darling smiley self!
Poor thing...that is a long time to be sick. I hope she is feeling better now. Doesn't it just break your heart since there is nothing you can do but wait it out?
Poor little thing. That is so hard sometimes for parents and kids alike. Hope she recooperates quickly. What a little sweetheart. She looks so grown up!
Ohhhh! I can relate to that story! Ethan has been sick for quite some time too! Just as he gets feeling better, on comes the next cold or whatever it is he catches! If you're like me it's hard to sleep at night listening to your child hack up a lung! Hope both of our kids feel better soon!

Hi i am Amanda i am Jeffs really good friend my daughter was born August 24, 2006!! And she has been really sick lately to and it just breaks me!! i see you guys moved to Colorado Springs! We live in Cheyenne,Wy with the AF. Some day i really hope to meet the beautiful Kya!
