Let the good times roll...

I have got some fun things planned for the summer.  Treasure hunts, pirate adventures, reading, library, swimming..all kinds of fun stuff for kids and family.  Although, I have made a few "mommy's house rules".

#1  There is no such thing as boredom...just mental laziness...BE CREATIVE!

This one will be used a lot this summer...I have things planned, but I am not a 24/7 entertainer, just a 24/7 fitness "person"...haha  "ANYTIME".

With that being said...here are a few things I have captured on camera and a little journaling.

Clay kept them busy for hours...gonna keep this on the craft shelf.

Oh ya...gettin' our country on at an Andy Griggs concert....not sure who he is.

If this video will ever load...here is Zander with his moves...on the ladies mostly...but he was groovin to the music too.

Nope video never loaded...sorry...dumb computer)

After a night of music and dancin'...we headed to Roaring Springs the next day.  A fun waterpark in Boise.  Well, I am using the term "fun" loosely...I decided to try to be a fun mom and not just sit around in the sun...that back fired, on my legs.  Here's the scoop.

Carl asked if I wanted to go on the Avalanche...a steep drop in a water tube and so forth.  Well, I got really bad whip lash and ended up laying in the sun anyway...unable to really move my neck...and got burned by the sun...probably 2nd degree burns.  Not feeling so hot...punned intended...today.  haha

After getting home from the water park and running to the chiropractor...Carl took the kids to the circus in town (I wanted to go to that) while I went to young womens activity night.  A great fashion show at the church put on by one of our beehives, where I got to do a little photo session with all the gals in their modest fashions.  Had an awesome night.

The kids however...got to ride and elephant...now I am jealous.

And that is the start of one really great summer to come.
