Swimming Lessons

Kya started swimming lessons a few weeks ago and she is loving it. She is even putting her face under the water. She told me that she was going to try real hard to put her face under and that she would go down the slide if the teacher asked. I love her enthusiasm and effort.

I also signed Zander up for a "mommy and me" class. He loves getting in the water and I love that we are teaching him to control his excitement and not just jump right in.

This last weekend, Carl was home and went with us. He wanted to do the class with Zander, which gave me an opportunity to take a few pictures.

And then just five minutes into class, a little girl threw up in the water...so we didn't get to finish class...Kya's teachers taught them a few things about water safety outside the water. Kya was a little bored, I think.

And Zander was just plain cold. He loved cuddling in his towel.

Zander is so much fun...he makes me laugh all the time.
