After reading that...I felt like I was reading my own thoughts. But this V-Day I had NO EXPECTATIONS. I really just want to spend the day with my kids and have a great family dinner together. Here is how our day went.
Breakfast...pink, heart shaped wheat pancakes with strawberry milk.
Valentines for the kids...
Painted toenails...
One handsome little devil...
Heart shaped hair-do...(specifically requested by Kya)
Some great holiday socks...
A day spent baking cupcakes...we had fun doing this...
Roses for me from my "true love" and carnations for Kya from one awesome daddy...
BBQ spare ribs for dinner...enjoyed by all (I had to tell Kya that is was ok to get dirty)...
Family Home Evening with a "Minute to Win It" activity...
Chocolate bowls with ice cream for dessert. This was a GREAT day.

But, in the end, I still got my fairytale ball. I got to dress up and have a night to remember. Carl was on the committee with the men in our ward to put on a Ball for their wives...I think it was all for me. Carl, you made a evening come true. I love you!
(Carl volunteered me to take pictures of couples...which I loved...but we had a little too much fun taking pictures while we had some down time)

Lots of fun pictures and posts, looks like a great day for all of you and I'm glad you were able to go to the dance, something you enjoy.
Very cute and looks like a lot of fun. Way to go Carl! Love all the pictures of your day.
Aaaw! What a great day, you looked so happy and giddy when we came over, that makes me smile.
Such cute pictures! The Ball looks like it was fantastic, and it looks like Valentine's was a hit with everyone. :) So fun!
