Happy Birthday to our little man. He is such a stud. For his party we went to Gerties (pizza joint downtown) and celebrated with family that live in town. Wish everyone could have come...but we had fun nonetheless. As mentioned in my previous post...Zander refused to nap today, he was wanting to play all day. After two screaming attempts at it...I decided he was just going to live it up for his big day. I don't know if he was just too tired, or he wasn't into the frosting on the cake...but as you will see in the video below, he was just as cautious as Kya was on her first birthday.
He gobbled the spagetti Carl fed him. Kids got an appetite.
I had fun making his cake...definitely a boy cake.
Not sure if he is just thinking we are all a bunch of crazies...but this picture is priceless.
Shortly after talking with Abuela Garcia on the phone...he loves to pretend to talk on the phone.
He went right for the cupcake wheels. Apparently the frosting wasn't his cup of tea.
Fun video of his first birthday cake experience. My kids just don't dive right in...I've taught them cleanliness well. Ha Ha
Kya had her fun, getting to ride on a horse at the party...this was all she wanted to do.
Then Zander had a go on the horse...not sure he shares the same passion as Kya.

He is 1? Wow! I remember basketball season last year when you brought him and he was so tiny in your arms. Kids make you realize how fast time goes. Hope you guys are doing well!
