So I thought Kya needed some mommy and me time. I realized this when the other day, while doing Zander's 1 month pictures, she said to me, "Mom, put baby brother down and hold you".
I took her to Daisy's today. I used to work at this ice cream, deli parlor in college and I love it. She really enjoyed girl time. I think I may make this a regular habit for us gals. We might bring the boys every once in a while.
She loved the Volcano drink. That was fun!

I can tell these two are going to be great friends.

PIF sounds fun. Those pics are adorable. Your kids are just adorable! I know I say that everytime. But really? They are adorable! That drink looks so dang cool. I bet little Kya loved it! How fun for you guys to go out and have girlie time. SUch a necessity! Pyper and I had a day today at the mall. It was really fun to do something like that without errands in the way-just do it for fun. It was a lot of fun:).

Thanks for reminding me to do this with Addie. I may not have another little one around just yet, but I can tell that she's already feeling a little neglected as I am running around like a crazy person trying to prepare for a substitute teacher for maternity leave, put together an Opera with my class, plan Parent Teacher Conferences, get the nursery ready, and all the other daily stresses that seem to always get in the way of quality girl time.

You're great! I've found the older Zahrah gets (and the more brothers she has) the more she NEEDS those girl dates & the more I need them too! Maybe one of these days we can meet half way and have one together! :-)
