What do you do when you are a Hunter's Widow?
Don't get me wrong, I love that Carl has a hobby and that he is passionate about something...but we miss him. Tis the season to hunt and Carl has been away from us for...today is five days. He is coming home today, yeah!
So, to answer the question, what do you do....well hang out with other Hunter's Widows, watch chic flicks and hang out with your girls. Friday night my friend H and I decided to get together, talk about "girl stuff" and watch a super chic flick that we would never be able to watch with our hubbies. Too much fun! Put a movie on for the kids and stay out late, it was a great night.
Then saturday Kya and I got all dirty at the house painting....more painting. I love to paint, but I do feel like it is a never ending project. Just a couple weeks away from "move in" day and then....pictures. Wahoo!Isn't she a doll. She had a blast getting her hands all dirty in the paint...I love it!

I am sorry you had to marry my brother for the simple fact I HATED hunting season at home! Love the meat hate the "season"!! I am so glad you support him in it, and I know he loves you all the more for that!

We had fun spending some time with you two as well, I just hope we didn't get Kya sick! Glad he is home and Tyler had such a good time with them.
Thank goodness Dereck isn't into hunting but I know for a fact that if he was given the chance he would go in a heart beat. Cant wait to see your finished house.
Since Tello is so wraped up in getting the office to a productive stage he doesn't take off for more than 1 day at a time to hunt, he just complains and whines and feels sorry for himself. I would much rather him just go for a nice long manly trip and then come back happy!
I'm glad you got to have a girl's night- how fun! And Kya's hair is so adorable! I can't wait until Addie has hair enough to play with like that. I LOVE IT! Also love your Halloween FHE. Fall is my FAVORITE time of year!
