Today we went to the Chilren's Museum in Denver, while Carl was in meetings for work (he joined us later at the museum). This has been a dream of mine as a mother since I was a nanny ten years ago. I went to the San Diego Children's Museum with my little guy as a nanny and since then, I couldn't wait until I could take my own little "learner" to a Children's Museum. We had a blast.
We painted, colored, played basketball, dressed up like a chef, a fire"woman", a bunny, a possum (I think), a painter, a queen, a vet and a carpenter. I couldn't decide which video to share so I chose this one. But there are plenty of pics of Kya's eventful day.
Shopping for groceries.

Buying our groceries.

Bunny in the forest.

Taking care of the puppy, giving him a shot. This was her favorite "career", she loves those puppies.

Listening to his heart...she knew exactly where to put the stethoscope...that's my girl!

Fire"woman"...this costume took some warming up to...she was little frightened by the large pretend firefighter. This smile was just for daddy, so she could take the hat off ASAP.

This is how tall I am...love the giraffes. 36" tall.

A possum (I think)

She really wanted to play with the puzzles.

Oh, and the letters...She was very excited about this large magnetic board. We were here the longest.

Daddy and mommy need to work on her "balla" skills, she was struggling a bit with shooting. But she does love to watch basketball with daddy.

Making my superhero cape...What a blast!

Ok, I had to share one more video...I love this little girl. She makes me so happy!

What a fun kids museum. I need to take advantage of that more in Seattle, Colby has been there twice but Tate hasn't been yet. Maybe that can be something daddy can do with the boys after I have the baby. Thanks for the idea.
Oh my goodness Paula! So stinkin' cute! I want to take Madax! You should call me when you go on these adventures! I would totally go with you!
Where is this museum in Denver?

How cute! I love children's museums too. We took the boys to the SLC one a while ago and they loved it.
Ya, she's a doll! You're a great mom!
Kya is so adorable! It looks like you guys had a great time. It tells me I need to take Dylan to the children's museum here. How fun!
I totally can't wait until Addie is old enough to appreciate the children's museum in SLC. We will definitely be going! This looks so fun, and wow... she has just grown up so fast. What a darling little girl! (And she's so smart too!)
that looks like sooo much fun! I would love to go to something like that. Nice find!
So fun! I love children's museums. There is a nice new one in ogden now and I'm looking foward to taking alexis there this summer. I loved the picture of Kya and the giraffe showing how tall she is. Darling smile! Last time I took alexis the microscope was her favorite. Looks like you have a little nurse or teacher on your hands. Cute!
how cute is this little girl!!! and how great is it that you are moving to twin? okay okay, not exactly back to logan, but closer!!! and recently i just had a close friend of mine move to twin so maybe i might have to plan a road trip!! :)
What a great little green outfit and a big smile!
That firefighter smile is the best! Kya looks so cute. Enjoy the days when she lets you dress her and do her hair---they didn't last long for me. Children's museums are the best. Macie has only gone once but it was great because they had all the fun stuff she likes to do that is messy---like painting!
You guys have one heck of a cute kid. She is so smart too. It blows my mind. You must tell me your secret to getting her to learn so easily because with Colvert it seems impossible. We love you all and can't wait to see in a couple weeks.
ooo! I am so jealous! Wow fun! My little girls gonna wish she had you for a mom instead of me. Your little one sure gets to experience some fun stuff. And boy she is growing fast!
That brought tears to my eyes for some reason. I can't wait to go to the zoo with her today, I'll have plenty of pics and videos to post of her on my blog tonight!
Adorable pics! I can't believe that Kya has almost caught up to Ethan in Heighth! Ethan is almost 39 inches tall! WOW! You have a tall girl on your hands!
So, back to twin falls eh! Hope all is well and your race was fun!
