Ok, for those of you who are big Stephenie fans (who isn't), here are a few pics of her. I went to her book signing in Denver last night. It was so much fun. I went with a few cousins and my Aunt. We got there early and got to go backstage to see Stephenie before her presentation and signing. Look at her go...I bet her hand feels like its going to fall off by the end of the night.

Cousins! Got a few of my books signed, of course.
She is very witty and poised. I really enjoyed her presentation. I just have to put this out there, because it is so cool. Someone asked her if she named her main character in "The Host" after her initials. S.M. and the main character being, Melanie Snyder. Her answer was..."No, actually Melanie is named after my cousin Melanie (MY OLDER SISTER)...." Too fun, I will have to get my sister to sign my book too, seeing as she is the main character in the book.

That's so cool she's your cousin! I really need to get these books from you. I've been wanting to read them for months! And with the movies coming out in the very near future, I want to have them read beforehand.
I cannot believe you are cousins with her. How awesome. I am so totally addicted to the twilight books. Someday you will have to introduce me to her! Ü

That's too fun. Yes, I finally got them started. I'm in the middle of New Moon. Everytime I'm in the middle of reading all the descriptive things, I just can't help but wonder how the heck does she come up with all this and how much patience it must have took to finish it all. I'm sure you have some fun picking her brain, I know I would! What a fun night. Everyone I know that has read them is just addicted!
I'm reading The Host now... I just love Stephenie. She's brilliant. I really miss our little book clubs where we would sit and discuss her books for hours on end :)

how awesome are you! :) how awesome is your cousin! when i saw the movie preview i was like...WOAH, that happened fast it was just barely two winters ago you were telling me i needed to read her book for your book club and BAM here she is a star! i have sooo many friends who are obsessed with her books it's crazy!!

How fun! I remember you telling us at an FSA meeting a couple years ago that we needed to read her book. Wow... look how far she's gone in just a couple years. Glad you got to go see her!

So so so so so fun for you! That's so fun that she named the main character after your sister. I have to say that I really struggled with the character who shares my namesake (100% coincidence, of course). So glad and jealous that you got to go!
