My mom keeps telling me that Kya will hate me for putting these pictures up on the blog, but I think they are so cute and really tell her story right now. So, Kya, my little angel, I am sorry. I wouldn't really be a mother if I didn't embarrass you sometimes.
"This potty training stuff is fun and yet I don't get it sometimes. Why don't they just leave my diaper on, I can go whenever I want, right? Well, for the first three weeks, I ruled the potty world...telling them when I had to go and going in the potty. I even was holding it pretty well until they would get me to a potty. Lately, I'm kind of bored with it, or maybe I have gotten lazy. Either way, there have been a lot more messes, in my panties, in my bed, on the floor....which ultimately leaves my mom doing a lot more laundry. She said she doesn't mind, we all have to learn sometime. I feel bad sometimes, and I put on my real cute 'I'm sorry' face to soften their hearts before they get angry. Works everytime.
Rather then tell them "potty" or "toilet", I just dance around now and whine a bit. Luckily Mom knows what that means. I think she is tired of running the washer. Yesterday I stood by the backdoor with my head down, looking ashamed (so Mom wouldn't get mad), and she just picked me up and set me on the toilet. I hadn't even wet my pants yet, but I did have to go #2. That was nice of her to read my facial expression.
They really are doing a great job with this whole potty thing, I think I am doing great too. What can I say...Messes happen!"

you do things so cute Paula. Keep up the great work Kya. We're still on backpedal here...a few good days, and then nothin in the potty.
I love the line of little panties. Too cute. What a big girl! Learning so well what to do in the bathroom. :) I think Peanut is learning the same thing.
We have the same panties in this house. They soak it all up quite a bit better than Tinkerbell does. :0) And don't feel badly, I put a potty picture on my blog when my daughter started blogging. She was reading too. It was adorable. Your daughter isn't old enough yet is she? Holy cow! I can't believe she's getting so big!
Your blog looks awesome. Love it. And yes she is going to hate you for these pictures, but what are ya going to do, they are cute.
Hey, don't feel bad. Chloe is still having occasional accidents, and really, until Kya is completely ready, it isn't going to happen 100%. She's doing wonderfully, especially considering she isn't even 2 yet!!
Chloe has 'Elmo's Potty Time' on dvd, and despite how obnoxiousness (if that's even a word), I think it has helped. Let me know if you'd like to borrow it.
I meant, despite its obnoxiousness
That's pretty cute. I know that Bry's not ready and to be honest with you... I'm not sure I'm ready to clean up poop from my floor and underwear!! :) I'm sure that we'll be going to the famous fair. Let's do dinner!
I LOVE this post Paula - the pictures are really great. Such talent you have. I love the different angles. By the way...my post about commenting was geared toward my family because they never comment - you Morgan gals are terrific so really it wasn't meant for you. Please don't feel like you have to post everytime either. I appreciate you! Becky
PS: How do you get music on your blog - I wanted to put Bubbly on mine - but I'll choose another "Happy" song. I just need to know the trick. (if you don't mind sharing.) Thanks. Becky
Fun post Paula! Sounds like she's getting the hang of it. Keep it up. And when you're done with her, you can come help Hailey. I'm SO not ready to even go there!
And I love the new look of your blog.
I'm so impressed that you have Kya as potty trained as she is already. Good luck getting back on track. We are headed down this road soon...still not looking forward to it.
Paula, your blog topper of Kya is absolutely beautiful. That is one of the best pictures, but other pictures of her are absolutely wonderful. She is gorgeous.
No comments on the potty pictures. The line of panties is cute.
Golly, she's big! You guys are obviously doing an awesome job with her--what a smart, talented little girl!
Oh my heck Paula you crack us up!! Chelsee, Nate and I laughed our heads off at the pic of Kya on the pottie reading! She is so smart!! Thank you for this wonderful blog. We love you guys.
YOu post the most adorable pictures! Love the picture of Kya on the toilet with green eggs and ham! Ethan loves that book! The pics of her tiny underwear is also cute! Good luck with the potty training! Ethan has started yet! He will occassionally tell me when he is poopy, but sometimes he does it just to get a laugh..when I change him he says, "No-poo! HA HA!", and runs away!
