MIA

BEFORE

Quick post...my sister asked me last night, "where have you been?"...in the blogging world. Well, its been a crazy week. I have been quilting, trying to get Kya's new bed quilt done (which I just finished the hand quilting part, that's why I blog). I borrowed the quilting set up, but have to return it tonight. So I have been doing mostly just that. Then Kya decided two days ago to get sick...throw up and all. She is so cute when she is sick, I get all kinds of cuddles. Problem is, I get so many cuddles, that I can't set her down for too long. Last night....worst night yet. She was up all night, crying, throwing up, wanting to go potty, and since we are getting her into a big bed (double, to be exact), we have put the mattress on the floor until she gets used to the edges. This means she can get out of bed and run into our room, which she did...all night long. The only sleep I got was from 12:00 to 2:00, when she wanted to sleep in her crib and slept the whole two hours. Poor girl! Maybe we are heading up hill. She has kept down a half of banana, a piece of toast and some Pedialyte. All of which she ate like a squirrel, eating its last meal. The girl is starving! And now, she is up in her room, almost napping. So here is a quick post until I can really get back to blogging.

Oh, your poor, sweet girl. I love when they're cuddly, but it can be so exhausting after such a long time. I hope she starts feeling better and you can get more sleep. Good luck on your projects! Pictures!?

What a sad looking girl. I'm sorry she's not feeling well. The vomits are no fun! Can't wait to see the beautiful quilt you are making her!!!

She does look pretty miserable, hope she feels better soon. I am sorry you have not been able to get much sleep but that will come back, we hope.

ooo...that is the sweetest picture! She is such a darling little babe. And WOW! Aspen is still in a crib, still in diapers, and still wanting bottles all the time. She knows HOW to go in the potty, she knows HOW to drink from a cup, and she CAN sleep in a bed...but she won't do a thing WE want her to do. Everything has to be on her time table. Ahh! What do I have on my hands! Keep blogging girl! I love knowing how you are. I totally miss you guys and talk about you all the time to the new comers at church, telling them how much they missed out knowing one of the best couples in the ward! I love you guys!

I'm so sorry you guys are sick at your house! I hate it when Bry's sick. It's awful! But, it's great becuase I get lots and lots of cuddles. He loves to lay with me on the couch and watch movies. So, that's an upside, right? :)

I have the best wife ever!!!!! Kya came running in last night at midnight crying and saying mess, mess, mess. She had thrown up again. It was all over and nasty I asked Paula if she wanted me to bath Kya and she could clean up the room so we could both get back to bed. She said, "no you have to work tommorrow I will do it." She is a great mommy, I love you K!

That sounds familiar. It seems like kids get sick so often. We just did the whole "stomach" flu in november and we are all getting over having a bad cold virus. I hope kya gets feeling better soon. What a cute little sweetie. I'm always amazed at all she is learning and how she is growing up so fast.

I feel for you two girls. I hope Kya is feeling better, the flu has been so bad this year. I love it when they want to cuddle, take all you can get! Give Kya a kiss from me.
