Happy Birthday Z-man.

Two years ago my beautiful baby boy was born....and what a fun road it has been since.
Aside from many sleepless nights...he has brought us much laughter too.
Zander has more personality in his pinky toe than most do in their whole body. He is such a comedian and really know how to turn and annoyed mommy into a laughing mommy. He's a charmer and a lover...not a fighter. Although he does know how to hold his own.

He is one good lookin' kid. How can you resist those dimples. Some of his favorite things....sitting in front of the heater....he loves cars, balls, fruit snacks, tools and Diego. I love this little boy so much, I cannot imagine my life without him.

Happy Birthday little man! We love you!

gingerbread kicks and yoga wrestling

Friday night family fun night. Last night we watched "The Country Bears" as a family and since there was music in the movie, Zander's awesome dance moves came out...unfortunately I didn't get his best moves on camera...but here's a little sample.

Then the kids started to goof around...I love watching these two play together...they are really funny and they get along great.

Fondue Night!

Thanks to my sister's great idea...we are now starting a new tradition...not sure how often...but we are doing "Fondue Night" now. The kids loved it. Bananas, apples, mallows and pretzels dipped in chocolate. I love these moments with my family.

Meet Pepper

I had a GREAT birthday yesterday. To be honest, I have no problems getting older. Being 33 is awesome...so far. I love celebrating my birthday, so I guess getting older is just another reason for me to party.

The kids and I had breakfast "in bed"...I made breakfast and we pretended to eat in bed on the kitchen floor. Carl pulled out the bacon before leaving for work so it would be thawed. What a sweetheart.

Well, as I was getting ready for work, my poor little Kya complains that her ears hurt, and is crying saying, "mom, I want you to stay home from work and take care of me". How can I pass that up. So, I did. Called my staff and had them cover for me. After a quick visit to the doctor, we found out she has two ear infections...yuck!

Went to lunch at Prasai with my mom and sister...it was yummy! Thanks for the outing!

Got home from a little shopping with the kids and to my surprise...Carl came home early from work...with what? my new baby!

Meet Pepper

Carl surprised me (he knows how I love surprises) with a new puppy. Although no puppy can replace Ellee, Pepper with certainly fill the hole in our hearts. She is much more mellow than Ellee was. She is 10 weeks old, a black and yellow lab and Carl drove up to Pocatello to get her last friday. Kya managed to keep her a secret the whole weekend...that is a miracle. I had no idea. I fell in love instantly. Isn't she beautiful? We came up with "Pepper" because she looks like salt and pepper with her white patch and soul patch under her mouth. The kids were having fun reading to pepper last night, and Zander was hugging her all night. He even tried to ride her. She is a cuddler, she kept nestling in my lap and just chilling.
So Carl took me to dinner to Canyon Crest with some friends and then we headed back to our house for some cake, ice cream and a little "Scene It, Twilight"...good times.

Thanks for a great day Carl, Kya and Zander.

I miss Ellee

We are home from our getaway to Grace to visit Carl's family....and I am missing my little Ellee. Coming home without her is not fun.

She was a beautiful puppy. And since a baby is not in my near future, I really miss Ellee. (she was my baby)
