Halloween!

Saturday night we celebrated our halloween by trunk-r-treating with our ward and another ward. They had cider and donuts, pumpkin carving contest and a costume contest for the youth. Lots of fun. Then the kids and I did a little trick-r-treating from door to door with my sister and her kids. The kids are all sorts of full of candy now...yay!

My handsome little pirate

And my little kitty

I was a mime, and didn't speak, most the night...Carl really liked this costume...me not talking...hahahaha! Just kidding.

Getting ready for trunk-r-treating.

And here is a close up of my makeup...I had fun with this. Man, I really get into halloween...I like to pretend to be someone else every once in a while I guess.

Pumpkin Harvest Carnival

So even though I ruined my pocket camera, I do still have my professional camera. I did get pictures of yesterday's events. Carl and I took the kids to the pumpkin patch and harvest carnival. It was really fun. I am so glad that Twin Falls came up with this, thanks to Rock Creek Growers. We had a lot of fun, the kids played games, rode on the barrel train, and even picked out their own pumpkins after the hay ride took us to the patch. Definitely an October activity. It was really great to put work and everything aside and do a family fun activity. Kya kept saying, "We have had a fun day haven't we?"

Found the perfect pumpkin.

Fishing for treats.

Another great fisherwoman.

This was their favorite thing to do. The train ride is something Kya gets excited about each year.

This kid is going to be into cars...he was driving that thing like a pro.

I am so blessed, look at these two great kids.

Kya's Silliness

So until I can get another camera, here is some of Kya's silliness that I have captured on my phone.

Face painting at the fair

Lunch with cousins

At the animal shelter

Shopping at Sportman's

Kya Ballerina

Goofy girl

Learning to sew (on a piece of junk toy...gonna have to get her a real machine)

Playing an elephant game

And then just being my sweet little Kya...although she does look a little tired. Probably from sitting in the car and running errands with mommy all day...my kids tag along with me a lot while running errands, poor things.

An apology

So, I really have no excuses for not posting in about a month. Although I am going to throw some out there anyway. I dropped my camera in water, I have been super busy with the gym, and I have quite honestly been a little lazy.

My apology goes out to those who really do follow my blog and of course want to see pics of the kids. Sorry! I will try to get my act together soon.
