First of all, thank you to Rachel....my sister.....for saving my blog.  She played around and figured out the side bar.  No pulling the plug today.

Thank you to all our family and friends and your love and support through our adoption experience.  Thank you for all your prayers and love.  We are still in Denver....expected to leave the hospital WITH ZANDER, tomorrow.  We are so excited.

Here are some more pictures of our time here and our beautiful Tess (she has given me permission to post her name).

Kya is so excited.
Getting in some cuddle time in our hospital room that Tess requested for us.
How do you entertain a 2 1/2 year old in a hospital....steal Tess's coloring books and crayons.
The girls went shopping for clothes for Zander....this is how we were when we got home.

I look horrible in this picture (30 hours of no sleep will do that to you), but Zander is smiling (look close), we has a dipple just like Jon (his birthfather)

Labor, yummy popsicles.  Isn't she beautiful.

Welcome....Zander J. Weeks

We are excited to introduce sweet little Zander J. Weeks. He was born early this morning at 2:14 am. Poor T had dialated to a 9 and was almost ready to push when they discovered that Zander's hand was on his head.....so the rushed her into O.R. for an emergency c-section. He was out within 15 minutes or so.

He is beautiful and "perfect", as the doctor reports to us of his health.

We are in the hospital now waiting for a release, which may not be until tomorrow or even friday. T will be here until friday or saturday.

As my sister mentioned in the previous post, he was 6 lbs. 3 oz and 19.5 in. long. He's a teeny little guy....but so stinkin' cute.

We have already fallen in love with him and Kya is not sure how to act around him, especially when he cries. She just wants to fix everything and make sure that his shirt is on straight and that he isn't dirty. So motherly already

I will post more as we have time and more pictures. Thank you for all the prayers and love from all our family and friends.

It's a boy!

{This is Paula's sister, Rachel. She called from the hospital and asked me to do a quick post.}

Poor Blog!

My blog is sick. She has Bloggeritis. I have tried to get her treatment and fix the swollen side bar that has now gone missing. All my previous posts have gone into hiding, not to mention the cough. I mean really! She is so far gone, that I don't think I can revive her. I hate to say it, but I may have to pull the plug...sniff, sniff...but I know she will be in a better place and at peace. We love her and we will miss her. But don't you fear....a new (younger and hotter) blog is on her way. (Please don't tell the other blog) Be looking for an invite to a new blog, coming soon!

Beware...bit of a Pity Post.

Whew! I finally have caught up with my friends' blog posts. Ok, so except the private blogs....still trying to get there. I got onto my google reader and had 156 unread posts. WOW! I can't keep up. But I did. I love my friends and family and care for all....but I have not been a good blog friend lately. Nor have I been keeping up very well with pics on mine. This post has no pics...just trying to catch up with some journaling.

Side note: My sidebar (no pun intended...kidding, I am really trying to be funny here) has disappeared and I want it back. Any tips?

I am sitting here in bed with my jammies still on at 3:00 .in the afternoon...sad, I know...I hate this. I have Interstitial Cystitis and I am feeling lousy. It feels like a bladder infection, but its not. My bladder is just always inflamed and when it acts up....it really acts up. So now back to another antibiotic therapy....5 days of hard core antibiotics, followed by 30 days of a mild dose. Talk about weak immune system coming on. So, I have been researching, again, my diet. There are certain foods that I should not be eating with IC, and so therefore and trying to stop. Things such as tomatoes, chocolate (here's where you should really feel sorry for me), strawberries (I think), and more.

As of yesterday I began a Detox. 1) To help get my bladder back in working mode and 2) HELLO...after holiday bloating and weight gain. Gotta love the holidays! I really love food and I love to eat....but I hate how I feel after. Aside from the fact that the last time I was working out regularly was when I was training for Wasatch Back, LAST SPRING. Really time to step it up and get in gear.

With my awesome new jogger stroller (thank you g and g and j and m), I am finally out and about again. Ok, so the 28 degree weather has not been much of a motivator...but we bundle up and Kya loves it. I'm rambling.

We are just under two weeks from baby and the waiting is hard, but worth every minute. The thing that makes it more difficult is not feeling well and sitting on my toosh trying to...well let's be honest....not pee my pants due to a weak bladder and the pain of actually peeing. Holding it in doesn't help either. Ok, that was probably a bit TMI.

But, because I am sitting here while my little angel sleeps, I have been able to do some blogging and comtemplate my goals. Too much time to think, I KNOW, not always a smart thing to do.

I am going to get back on track with my photography. I have been neglecting it...some due to the cold weather, and some due to my time being focused on baby #2. Ok, I don't know what I am going to do....by next week I will be heading to Denver and there for probably a couple weeks and then back home adoring the little guy....when am I going to want to focus on photography, or course except while I am snapping precious memories of every little move he makes, sleeping, cooing, sleeping, crying (a little, because we all know he will be a little angel....am I right? hee hee), sleeping, eating and then of course having big sis love him to pieces (I'm tearing up....are you?).

Ok, this was a crappy post and really long and not fun to read, I am sure, but if you made it through it all....your prize is a "good note". I will end on a good note.....

I love being a mother and can't wait for #2.
And, by the way, I AM 31.....WAHOO! Thanks Carl and Kya for a SUPERRIFIC Birthday.

Baby Boy nursery

I have finally finished the nursery. I am really happy with the end result. It took a lot of touch up work on the paint....because the walls are textured like crazy. This was fun to do...and also a little frustrating. But it did help make the wait go by a little faster. We are down to two weeks now wahoo!

Got this motorcycle at Real Deals a few years ago and now can finally display it. Maybe he will get into motorcycles like Daddy.

Changing table

Long sleepless nights will be spent in this chair. I can't wait!

This was fun to paint....Its hard to see in the picture, but I put up some cabinet doors that I had laying around along the bottom of the wall (in the white section)...to give a little architectural detail.

Still have some bedding to finish, but I really like the fabrics I found....so cute.

Holiday Pictures!

Got to admit, I have just recently joined facebook and have found myself on there a lot more than blogger these days. But as promised....here are pics from the holidays. We spent the holidays home in Twin Falls with my family. On the 6th of December we did go up to Grace for Carl's family's annual Christmas party. Kya was an angel in a little skit they put on of Jesus' birth. She certainly is an angel.

Christmas Eve we were at my parents house for a white elephant gift game. It was a lot of fun.

She really has become quite the "cheeser" for the camera.

Explaining something to Grandpa Morgan.

Opening up her "jammies" from Grandma Morgan

Don't they just look so cute. Their jammies say "I am a dream come true". Isn't that the truth.

Awwwww. Uncle EJ loves his neices and nephews. Listening to Grandpa read the story of Christ's birth from the scriptures.

Christmas morning
Tradition: Hot cocoa and Mom Morgan's cinnamon rolls. Yum!
Kya going downstairs to open gifts. This girl loves to unwrap gifts, that is really all she wanted to do....playing came later, after unwrapping was all done. She cracks us up.

Carl and I made her a dollhouse for Christmas...that was a fun project. We used our old fish tank stand that we built a few years ago. Carl of course did the construction part with my design ideas and then I got to paint and decorate. We make a great team.

Playing with her dollhouse.

Playing in the snow after Christmas. The girl didn't want to come in, even though her little cheeks and nose were frozen.
Good times with Daddy.
Saying goodbye to 2008
and Hello 2009
New Year's Eve, at home, getting ready to watch a movie. Just the three of us hung out after going to dinner with my family. Quiet night. Ok, really I would have loved to go out on the town or to a fun party, masquerade ball or something, but it was fun to just hang out with my man and little angel.
