Our weekend at the KOA
See the next post for more pictures. We had a lot of fun and I got some great pictures of Kya at the beach. She was such a great girl, as always. She is so flexible with our weekend getaways.
Friday Night....weekend
This picture was taken for little bro EJ. We miss you and wish you could have joined us for this family reunion.
This past weekend was our Morgan Family Reunion. We had so much fun. Of course we missed our little brother EJ because he is in France on a mission. But we all wrote a letter to him and sent those off, from each family. Here are all the Morgan girls. Now officially Connell, Larsen, Cook, Weeks, Durazzani and Elkington girls. Friday night date night was spent playing "Family-Newlywed Game" and a family "Deal or No Deal" game. We had a blast!
All Morgan grandkids. What a great bunch of kids.
Mommy and Kya on the beach at Bear Lake.
Kya was playing hard in the sand. She is such a great little girl. She really knows how to have fun.
Check out the Beach Babes. What dolls!!!
Eating the sand, always a fun activity.

She's CRAWLING!!!
FINALLY! Kya is crawling. Yahoo!!! She has been working on it for the past week and she is a pro. She is still on her own schedule and in her own time will she crawl, but we were lucky to get video today. Check her out. We are so excited that she is mobile. She definitely wanted to be a mover and a groover. Soon we will get video of her dancing and you will see her groove. I love it!

Friday Night....CANCELED!
Tonight Friday Night Date Night was canceled due to some unfortunate weather conditions. We had planned on going to the pool, a refreshing idea considering the blistering heat we have been experiencing. Unfortunately around 3:30 pm the clouds moved in and then began an horrific wind storm
. I nearly blew off the sidewalk trying to roll up the car windows. Needless to say, the pool was not going to be the best place for a date night. So we hung inside and watched a movie on TV
. It still was a great night with family. Enjoy your weekend!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!
The day started out great, with breakfast in bed, made by Carl. Delicious scrambled eggs (he makes the best eggs), and toast with yummy skim milk. What a man!!!
For Kya's first 4th of July
celebration we got all
dressed up for the occasion
and of course went to the fireworks.
She sure loved the show. At first when we arrived and Kya saw the little fireworks people were setting off, she was a little scared and she laugh/cried while grabbing onto me or Carl. But once she got used to them, she couldn't take her eyes off the show.

She was so into the show that she reached down to grab a cracker out of my hand without taking her eyes off of the fireworks. What a doll!!! She really is my true American Beauty. This was by far the best Fourth we have ever had, thus far. I had more fun watching Kya and her reaction to the fireworks, than I did watching the fireworks myself. After we got home, she went right to bed and slept in until 9:00 am the next morning. We hope you all had as much fun celebrating the Fourth as we did.

What Dolls!!!
Saturday, Kya and I went to Logan to spend the day with my dear friend, Robin. She recently welcomed her beautiful daughter to her family just a month ago. We were so excited to meet her. We also went to lunch with some other dear friends who also have additions in their families. In the picture you will find (from left to right), Bethany, Kya, Brookley, and Brynnley. Four beautiful baby girls. How exciting and wonderful to have these precious children in our lives. After lunch we made jewelry, for fun. Congratulations to all my friends for their spectacular additions.
Friday Night Date Night
This date was a unique one. We were in Grace, Idaho this weekend with Carl's family and we went to a play for our date night. Carl's dad and mom were in a musical called "1856". Its a play about the pioneers that crossed the plains and those wonderful saints from the Willie-Martin Handcart Company. Carl's dad, Jerry, played a lead roll and did a wonderful job. Kya loved the music and dancing and brights lights. She was very good. It was a sad play and of course I cried, but so did Carl, so we were both moved. Thank you Yvette and Jerry (and their stake) for providing the entertainment for our "Friday Night Date Night". It was a good weekend.
